Prior to founding Beechtree Capital Tom spent 15 years at Montanaro Asset Management, including 8 years as Head of Business Development. Tom has an extensive network of contacts in the UK & Ireland spanning both wholesale and institutional, and a proven track record of raising assets.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young daughters. When time allows, he will often be found on the golf course, cooking or growing vegetables.
Helen Bullock
Sales Director
Helen joined Beechtree Capital in late 2025 after more than 25 years with Rathbones Asset Management. She is passionate about building long‑term client relationships and introducing thoughtful, well‑matched investment opportunities that support the best possible outcomes for clients. Over the course of her career, she has progressed from a regional sales role to specialising in the wealth and intermediary market in London.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys the arts, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her sons continue to amaze her with their drive and their confident approach to life
Our Advisory Committee
Beechtree's advisory committee is chaired by Rob Burdett who brings a vast wealth of experience from the world of manager selection and fund management. His role will be to provide guidance as we seek to partner with the highest quality active managers, as well as helping us understand the fund buyer’s point of view.
Rob Burdett

Rob is Head of Multi-Manager at Nedgroup Investments, joining in October 2024. Prior to joining Nedgroup Investments Rob co-founded a Multi-Manager business for Thames River Capital in 2007 and spent 17 years managing the funds and team through several changes of ownership culminating in the Columbia Threadneedle Multi-Manager LLP entity. Assets peaked at £3.3bn. Before this he established and ran similar Multi-Manager businesses for Credit Suisse and Rothschild Asset Management, after a period in wealth management. He holds the CISI Diploma.
